Dr. Bryce Hauschildt
Veterinarian
Dr. Bryce Hauschildt graduated from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine and completed his pre-clinical training in St. Kitts, West Indies. His clinical rotations were done at Louisiana State University. He started Jefferson Veterinary Hospital in 2003.
Dr. Hauschildt has focused his studies exclusively on small animal practice, with a personal interest in behavioral science. He appreciates that his patients are much more than a chart with a name, and realizes that owners have deep feeling for their pets and their well-being. He welcomes new clients to come and check out his hospital. He's sure you'll make it your new home. When he is not working you can find him trimming bonsais, golfing, out in the woods or at home with his son and two daughters.

Rebecca (Becca)
Veterinary Assistant
Rebecca, also known as Becca, knew she wanted to work with animals from a very young age when she got her first dog. It was a German shepherd, named Nevada and that is when she fell in love with the breed and saw how amazing dogs can truly be. Ever since then she has always had a passion for working with animals.
When the opportunity presented itself to join Jefferson Veterinary Hospital team to be a receptionist, she jumped at the chance to work alongside the Licensed veterinary technicians and veterinarian. She currently is pursuing her Veterinary technician degree. When she isn't working, she loves to spend time with her German shepherd, Cooper and her cat, Cayenne.
Aleata Kent, LVT
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Aleata joined the JVH team in July of 2023. She has been working in the veterinary industry since 2021 while completing her bachelor's degree in veterinary technology at Medaille University. Aleata discovered a passion for helping animals when she was quite young and would try to rehabilitate injured wildlife in her neighborhood. In her free time, she enjoys baking and hiking with her dog Georgia.

Erika Geedy
Veterinary Technician
Erika attended Medaille University and received her associate's degree in veterinary technology in December 2022 and joined the JVH team that same month. Before getting het degree, she worked in the field as veterinary assistant for 6 years. Erika knew she always wanted to work with animals since she was little, always taking in stray animals and nurturing them back to health. When she's not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Jon and their two cats Armani and Bella.

Megan Knopf
Receptionist
Megan Knew that she wanted to work with animals since she started working and competing with horses. From there, she started volunteering at rescues, shelters, and farms to works with as many different animals as she could. Since then, she has had the chance to work with horses, cows, deer, birds, and exotics.
Having the chance to work alongside the incredible staff at Jefferson Veterinary Hospital has allowed her to expand her knowledge and love of all the patients she sees. Getting to work face to face with clients and hearing their life stories make the day that much better.

Torre Pinkins
Receptionist
Torre is a very happy and boisterous individual. He is a father of two that enjoys playing and watching sports and spending time with his family. He has been in the veterinary industry for 4 years and has three cats and three dogs.
